We are seeking an experienced Economist with 3 plus years of experience to join our team. We are seeking a Project Manager with 7 or more years of experience in transit planning, project development, and related disciplines. The Project Manager will lead and/or work on a variety of transit consulting assignments that may include system- and corridor-level analysis, land use, economics, finance, performance evaluation, environmental assessment, and other related technical areas. Responsibilities include analysis of likely impacts and benefits of proposed transportation investments; participation and oversight on a variety of transportation projects, including multimodal corridor studies, regional transportation modeling and traffic studies; design and implementation of data collection efforts using statistical analysis packages; evaluation of ITS deployments; implementation and use of simulation models (including Synchro, HCS, Traffix, Paramics, VISSIM, DYNASMART-P), calibration of large-scale transportation network, and geographical information system software (GIS); and preparation of technical reports and presentations.
Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign educational equivalent) in Industrial or Transportation/Civil Engineering and have had coursework or academic project experience with intelligent transportation system applications, transit operations and planning, ArcGIS, the four-step modeling process (using TranPlan and Cube), and traffic simulation modeling (including VISSIM, Paramics, and DYNASMART-P).
